Burnley Football Club, founded in 1882 and based at Turf Moor in Lancashire, was one of the twelve founder members of the Football League in 1888. The club has been champions of the English top flight twice (1920–21 and 1959–60) and won the FA Cup in 1914. It is one of only a small number of clubs to have won titles in all four professional divisions of English football.
