Deportivo Alavés

Deportivo Alavés is a Spanish football club based in Vitoria-Gasteiz, in the Basque Country, founded in 1921 and playing at the Mendizorrotza stadium. Though the club has never won La Liga, it has claimed four Segunda División titles and enjoyed its greatest moment reaching the 2001 UEFA Cup final, where it lost 5–4 to Liverpool after a golden goal in extra time.
