Eintracht Frankfurt is a German professional football club based in Frankfurt, Hesse, founded in 1899 and a founding member of the Bundesliga in 1963. The club won the German championship in 1959 and reached the European Cup final the following year, and has since claimed five DFB-Pokal titles. Frankfurt won the UEFA Cup in 1980 and lifted the UEFA Europa League in 2022, cementing its reputation as a strong cup and European side.
