Olympique de Marseille was founded on 31 August 1899 and plays at the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille, France. The club is the only French side to win the UEFA Champions League, lifting the trophy in 1993, and is one of the most decorated teams in French football with nine league titles and a record ten Coupe de France wins. A tenth league title from the 1992–93 season was stripped following a match-fixing scandal.
