VfL Wolfsburg

VfL Wolfsburg is a German professional football club based in Wolfsburg, Lower Saxony, founded in 1945 and historically tied to the Volkswagen company, whose workers established the club. Playing at the Volkswagen Arena, Wolfsburg reached the Bundesliga in 1997 and won the league title in the 2008–09 season under manager Felix Magath. The club later added the 2014–15 DFB-Pokal and 2015 DFL-Supercup to its honours.
