Torino Football Club was founded on 3 December 1906 in Turin, Piedmont, and plays at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino. The club is one of Italy's most storied sides, winning seven Serie A titles, most famously the five consecutive scudetti of the legendary Grande Torino team of the 1940s, whose players were almost entirely wiped out in the Superga air disaster of 4 May 1949.
