Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio, founded in 1907 in Bergamo, Lombardy, play at the Gewiss Stadium (Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia). Long known as a selling club and youth academy, they have never won Serie A but hold the joint-most Serie B titles in Italy. Under Gian Piero Gasperini they became a European force, winning the 2023–24 UEFA Europa League, their first continental trophy.
