Angers Sporting Club de l'Ouest was founded in 1919 in Angers, western France, and plays at the Stade Raymond-Kopa (roughly 18,750 capacity). A long-standing yo-yo club between France's top two divisions, its main honours are Division 2 titles in 1969 and 1976, and it twice reached the Coupe de France final, in 1957 and 2017 (losing 1-0 to Paris Saint-Germain).
