Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club is based in Brighton and Hove, East Sussex, founded in 1901 and playing at the Falmer Stadium since 2011. Historically a lower-league side, the club reached the 1983 FA Cup final and rose to the Premier League in 2017 after a 34-year absence from the top flight. In 2022–23 Brighton recorded their highest-ever finish of sixth and qualified for European football for the first time.
